Here's one of our staples — you simply can't go wrong with this combo: the Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse and the Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s keyboard.
We've been using this setup for about three years, and honestly, it just works. Are there better keyboards and mice out there? Probably. But at this price, we're happy.
The Best Feature: Three Devices, One Push of a Button
The thing we really love is the ability to connect both the keyboard and mouse to three different devices. With the push of a button, we can jump from one computer to another. If you regularly work between multiple machines, this is a surprisingly useful feature.
How They Feel Day to Day
The M720 is a full-size mouse with a comfortable grip, plenty of customizable buttons, and some seriously fast scrolling. The Pebble Keys 2 is smaller and more portable, but still has a nice laptop-style typing feel. Logitech rates the M720 for roughly two years of battery life and the Pebble Keys 2 for around three, so recharging or swapping batteries isn't something we think about often.
Neither One Is Exciting. That's the Point.
Neither one is particularly exciting. And that's actually the point. They're reliable, comfortable, inexpensive, and they do what we need them to do every day. After three years of use, that's a pretty good endorsement.
